About

Dan is an experienced clinician who works with adults, with a variety of different backgrounds, issues, and experiences. Prior to his private psychotherapy practice, he worked in a corporate setting delivering counseling and consulting to employees, managers, and human resources leadership. He dealt with a range of issues affecting employees, including psychiatric emergencies, chronic mental illness, workplace safety, and substance abuse.

In addition, Dan has presented wellness seminars on a variety of topics related to mental and emotional health. He has delivered training programs on harassment prevention and EEOC requirements, performance management, and diversity & inclusion. He has presented at public organizations, private financial institutions, law firms, and media companies.

Dan was the Lead Clinician in the Needs Assessment Program at a Summit Oaks Hospital, in New Jersey. He also worked in the Intensive Outpatient Dual Diagnosis Program at this facility, providing therapy and education.

Dan holds a Masters degree in Clinical Social Work from Rutgers University and a B.A. in Psychology from Hamilton College. He has also completed post-graduate training at the Beck Institute for Cognitive Therapy, and the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies.
